No Mercy, No Forgiveness Novel Ch 34
The woman who never cared for makeup now wore it flawlessly. The one who dressed exclusively in somber colors now shimmered in a vibrant gown…
For the first time, Geoffrey realized his wife possessed this hidden facet.
He watched her approach, his Adam Roberts’s apple bobbing faintly.
Stopping half a meter away, Maureen spoke evenly: “Good evening, Sir.”
Geoffrey froze.
Before he could react, her eyes swept the room.
“Are you the auction organizer?
I’m here to pay and collect my items.”
Geoffrey’s expression darkened instantly.
He rose, his imposing frame blocking most of the light as he loomed over her. “Who do you think I am?” His voice was low, edged with gravel.
“Who are you?
Do I know you?” Maureen’s tone remained calm.
Geoffrey choked back his next words.
An icy aura radiated from him. “You don’t recognize me?”
Then I’ll make sure you know exactly who I am!”
Maureen’s pupils contracted sharply.
Before she could react, Geoffrey’s rough kiss swept over her.
Her breath caught as she struggled in panic.
But Geoffrey pinned her firmly against him, his large hand covering the skin of her back, his bold movements grow- ing bolder.
She’d thought she could pretend nothing happened, but she failed.
A film of tears clouded her eyes. Unable to hold back, she slapped Geoffrey hard across the cheek.
“Show some restraint!”

“I had a serious illness four years ago and lost my memory,”
Geoffrey froze instantly, staring at her in disbelief.
Maureen seized the chance to break free, stepping back warily with guarded eyes.
This reaction churned Geoffrey’s thoughts into chaos.
“You claim amnesia?
Then how do you recognize this necklace?”
He pulled an emerald from the nearby drawer and tossed it before Maureen.
What couldn’t he obtain if he wanted it?
!
Maureen answered calmly: “This is my father’s heirloom. Of course I remember.”
So she remembered the heirloom, but not him….
Geoffrey nearly laughed from sheer fury.
Not wanting to waste words, Maureen pulled out a check and shoved it at him.
“Paid. Taking the item.”
Geoffrey pinched the check, watching the woman walk away without looking back as he ordered, “Keep close tabs.”
Beverly Hills Villa Estate,
Back home, Maureen stood on the balcony, downing glass after glass.

That day, she almost returned to Karaville. Fortunately, at the airport, she saw a photo of Geoffrey and Andrea attend- ing a banquet together, and only then did she belatedly remember that their relationship had ended…
That kind of memory disorder, which gives hope again and again only to bring disappointment again and again, is something only those who’ve experienced it can understand–how agonizing it is.
She had always known Geoffrey didn’t love her. His relentless search for her over these four years stemmed purely from resentment and hatred toward her.
So this time, she chose to feign amnesia, aiming to obtain Geoffrey’s sperm without physical contact!
The phone’s ringing interrupted Maureen’s thoughts.
Maureen answered the call, hearing a deep, magnetic male voice–it was Gareth.
“How’s it going?”
“Mm, the first step is basically a success.”
Maureen replied.
Gareth noticed something off in her voice and frowned. “Have you been drinking again?”
Maureen lied, “No, I haven’t touched alcohol in ages.”
Gareth murmured “Mm,” then after a long pause added, “If you hit any obstacles, I’ll come back-”
Before he could finish, Maureen cut him off.
“No need. You have to trust me–I can handle this.”
Through their years abroad together, Maureen had discovered Gareth’s identity was highly unusual, leaving him al- most no free time.
She didn’t want to hold him up with her own problems.
“Remember to call me immediately if you need anything.”
“Okay.”
The call ended.
Maureen looked at the empty liquor bottle on the table, tossed it into the trash, then turned on the TV to dispel the loneliness filling the room.
Entertainment news flashed across the screen.
“Andrea transitions from singer to A–list star, rumored linked to Sutton Group CEO Geoffrey?
Sources claim their secret romance spans over a decade…”
