No Mercy, No Forgiveness Novel Ch 60
He’d come specifically to observe Maureen’s reaction when facing Andrea.
He refused to believe she’d remain indifferent to Andrea’s words.
“You stole me right from her grasp.”
Geoffrey stared intently at her, enunciating each word.
Nonsense!
They’d clearly broken up before their families arranged the marriage.
This blatant twisting of the truth sparked silent fury in Maureen, though she kept her composure: “Really?
I may be hard of hearing, but I’m not blind. Was my charm really so lacking back then?
That I’d need to steal men from her?”
Sharp tongue? She could play that game too.
Geoffrey’s expression stiffened.
“You think other men are better than me?”
Were they alone, he’d have demanded answers immediately.
Sensing his renewed anger, Maureen wisely backed down: “Just an analogy, Mr. Sutton. Don’t overthink it.”
How could Geoffrey not overthink it?
Since her return, Maureen seemed like a different person!
Before he could respond, Andrea’s song concluded onstage.
Truthfully, neither had listened beyond the first few lines after spotting each other.
As the final note faded, the audience applauded.
Though Andrea’s singing was mediocre, the melody of this new song was truly exceptional, surpassing all her previ-
ous works.
Some boldly claimed it would become an instant hit upon release.
Andrea’s new song release event was a resounding success.
Amidst the flattery, her gaze drifted toward Maureen, eyes gleaming with pride.

Finally, she’d proven herself Maureen’s equal once more!
As media crews dispersed, Andrea strode directly toward Geoffrey, flashing Maureen a triumphant look.
“Geoffrey, I knew you’d come.”
“You never missed any important moment of mine before.”
Maureen watched the exchange, not knowing how to feel.
Remaining guests–fellow students invited to attend–naturally assumed Geoffrey was here for Andrea.
In front of so many people, Geoffrey didn’t embarrass her.
“Geoffrey, join us for the party later?”
Andrea added.
Geoffrey, angered by Maureen’s words, deliberately agreed in front of her: “Yeah.”
The entire floor of a five–star hotel was booked.
As soon as Geoffrey arrived, he was surrounded by Andrea and a bunch of rich kids.
Maureen sat alone to the side.
Just then, a woman dressed innocently approached her.
“See? Only our Andie can get Mr. Sutton to come.”
“After all, our Andie is his first love.”
Maureen recognized this person–Andrea’s best friend, Brenda Torres.
Maureen took a sip of wine, unfazed: “Looking at you, anyone would think you’re Geoffrey’s first love.”
Brenda had meant to defend her friend.
She never expected Maureen’s words to leave her flustered.
Maureen didn’t want trouble here, so she got up and left.
Meanwhile, when Geoffrey finally broke free from the crowd, Maureen was gone.
After brushing Andrea off with a few words, he left too.
In the pouring rain, a top–tier Cadillac followed Maureen’s car.
Until Maureen returned to the Beverly Hills Villa Estate.
The person inside finally looked away.
Geoffrey picked up the phone and called Wayne: “Any updates on what I asked you to look into?”

“Someone’s been obstructing us, but our team found out that after Ms. Ramirez went abroad, she went to Country Town.”
“We still need more time for specifics.”
Wayne replied.
Geoffrey gave a low “Hmm” before leaning back in his chair and rubbing his temples.
Country Town!
He never imagined Maureen had been living there all these years.
No wonder he couldn’t find her despite years of searching.
Judging by Maureen’s unusual behavior today, he grew increasingly certain she was hiding something from him!
Maureen had just finished talking with her sons when Andrea called.
“I’m outside where you’re staying. Let’s meet.”
Outside Governor’s Mansion.
Andrea stood beside a luxury van.
As she walked toward Maureen, her eyes scanned the surroundings.
“This place is just as impressive as the Ramirez family’s old estate,” Andrea remarked pointedly.
Maureen had only recently learned that Andrea now lived in the Ramirez family’s ancestral home.
After achieving fame, Andrea had spent a fortune to acquire the property.
“Did the famous Andrea drag me out here just to discuss real estate?”
Maureen said.
“Of course not.”
Andrea stepped up to Maureen: “I’m here to ask you to voluntarily leave the Sutton Group and go back abroad.”
What Geoffrey did to Maureen today made her feel a chill afterward.
She feared Geoffrey had truly fallen for Maureen!
Maureen laughed: “Why should I?”
Andrea choked.
Maureen stared back, eyes dripping with mockery: “Are you scared?”
Andrea shuddered under that gaze: “What could I fear?”

“Do you think I’m still that penniless orphan?
Now I have everything I want!”
“Maureen, I used to envy you, but now I pity you.

Pity your father’s dead, your family ruined, pity you having a mother who’s no mother at all.”
Andrea grasped Maureen’s shoulders, smiling brightly: “All these years, do you know where Noelle and your brother went?”
