No Mercy, No Forgiveness Novel Ch 133
Mentioning death inexplicably struck a hidden chord in Geoffrey. He stepped forward, pulling Maureen into his embrace, gently patting her back while softening his voice.
“You’re alive. I’m right here,” he paused, then added, “Don’t be afraid.”
It took Maureen a long moment to shake off the nightmare.
She looked up at Geoffrey, but the dim light obscured his face.
“Thank you.”
Then she gently pulled away from Geoffrey’s hold and lay back down.
Her politeness and distance stung Geoffrey. This time, he didn’t return to the next room. Instead, he pulled back the blanket, lay beside Maureen, and drew her close again.
Maureen stiffened as his low voice rumbled:
“You can actually talk to me about anything.”
Maureen’s throat tightened.
Outside, strong winds rose suddenly, and heavy rain poured down.
The originally sweltering weather turned cool with the sudden downpour
Maureen was terrified at first, but being held like this brought her unexpected comfort.
She vividly remembered Geoffrey’s slight aversion to physical contact-

in three years of marriage, he’d never once embraced her.
Yet now everything felt different.
“Geoffrey… do you still hate me?”
The man’s arms stiffened around her.
Before he could respond, Maureen murmured, “I don’t understand…”
Geoffrey’s throat tightened, trapping his words.
Can’t people change?
He couldn’t explain this unfamiliar ache-
No affection, just dread at the thought of replacing her.
Only this primal fear of losing her forever.
After a prolonged silence, Geoffrey countered: “If we divorce… would you marry Gareth?”
Maureen shook her head.
“I don’t know.”
But her heart yearned for freedom beyond the Sutton daughter–in–law identity.
Now she had meaningful work and her child-
No longer the woman who only lived for Geoffrey, only lived for love.
“I’ll let you both go now. Agreed?” Geoffrey suddenly offered.
Hope flickered in Maureen’s eyes: “I’d be grateful.”

Geoffrey released her, icy mockery freezing his gaze:
“You actually dared to hope!”

Geoffrey’s words shattered all hope for Maureen. Only then did she realize he had been toying with her all along.
“What do you take me for?”
“I treat you exactly how you treat me!”
Faking death. Vanishing suddenly. Having a child…
The mere thought made Geoffrey want to tear Gareth limb from limb. How could he possibly let Maureen leave with that man?
“Remember this: I’ve never been one to make sacrifices for others.”
Neither slept well that night.
Meanwhile, at Andrea’s residence.
She received news: Maureen had been in a car accident but survived.
A call came through. Andrea picked up the call to hear Frank’s voice: “Andie, you’ve got to help me.”
“I’m hiding out here… somewhere outside.”
Andrea’s eyes narrowed. “Where exactly are you hiding?”
Frank gave her the address.
Without another word, Andrea forwarded the location to police.
Frank still held hope for Andrea until Gareth’s men took him to the address Andrea had lied about.

Seeing guards ambushed in the bushes, Frank sat frozen in disbelief inside the black sedan.
“See? That woman never planned to save you. She’s been using you all along,”
the guard watching Frank remarked.
Frank shook his head. “I don’t believe it. Her phone might be being tapped!”
The guard hadn’t expected this fool to still deny the truth at this point.
The boss’s order was to make this guy see Andrea for who she was. Since he remained blind, they’d take their time–there was no rush.
As the car drove off, the team sent to capture Frank missed their target.
Andrea had assumed Frank would be caught, yet he’d slipped away
again.
Anxiety gripped her, leaving her momentarily paralyzed about what to do next.
Pearl.
Maureen had just returned from the hospital when Katherine’s call came through.
Jacob’s concerned voice reached her first: “Mommy, have you been okay lately?”
Maureen had made Gareth promise not to mention her car accident to Katherine or the others.

So Jacob knew nothing about it.
“Mm–hmm, I’m doing great,”
Maureen replied softly.
Katherine asked Jacob: “How’s school?
Haven’t been causing trouble for Aunt Katherine, have you?”
Jacob straightened up seriously.
“Mommy, I’m not a three–year–old anymore.”
Jacob glanced back at the chaotic room where Katherine was reciting legal documents, sighing inwardly.
Mommy didn’t realize he’d been looking after Aunt Katherine all along.
And honestly, Aunt Katherine was a bit… well, silly.
Just as Jacob thought this, Katherine noticed his gaze. Hugging her beginner’s law book, she grinned at him.
་་
“…See?”
Definitely silly.
Maureen chatted with him awhile before asking him to pass the phone to Katherine.
Jacob walked over and reluctantly handed her the phone.
“Mommy wants to talk with you.”
“Okay,”
Katherine took the phone with one hand, law book still clutched in the

“Reenie, don’t worry about Jacob–he’s doing great.
You should see how all the kindergarten kids listen to him…” Katherine rambled about Jacob’s recent school adventures.
