The man lying on the floor suddenly got even more animated when he saw Tiffany. “That’s her. If you open her album and enter her birthday, you’ll see I’m telling the truth. She’s not the innocent girl she pretends to be.“[]
Tiffany’s face drained of color the moment she saw that guy.
She rushed to Elijah, anxiously explaining, “No, Elijah. Those photos were taken while I was forced. He pursued me for so long–I thought I’d give him a shot, but he drugged my drink.“[]
“That’s bullshit. Wasn’t it you who threw yourself at me? Have you seen how you look in those videos–enjoying every moment? How can you say I forced you?“]
Unable to contain himself, Elijah grabbed a chair and a bottle of wine, hurling them at the man.
Glass shards struck the man’s eyes, blood oozing from his wounds as he howled in agony.
Elijah’s first instinct was to wrap Tiffany in his arms, covering her eyes. “It’s okay, Tiffany. I’ll handle this. Don’t be afraid. I won’t let any of these photos and videos get out.“[]
Then he grabbed the man’s phone, smashed it to pieces, and poured a drink on the wreckage before setting it on fire.
Flames erupted, scorching the phone as it burned.[]
Kendall stood at a distance, quietly watching as Elijah comforted Tiffany.[]
“Tiffany, don’t worry. I’ll make sure this rapist ends up behind bars. Think of this as a bad dream. I promise you’ll never have to deal with people like him again.“[]
Tiffany clung to him, tears streaming down her face. “Elijah, are you serious? You don’t think any less of me?“[]
Elijah gently wiped her tears, his eyes filled with concern. “Of course not. In my heart, you’ll always be that pure little girl.“]]
He scooped her up and left the chaos behind.[]
Kendall smiled quietly to herself, retrieving her bag and heading back to her seat.[]
A few staff members hidden in the corner quickly called out to her. “Miss, you haven’t taken the jewelry Mr. Trevor bought for you yet.“1
As she turned to respond, the man who had been on the ground suddenly got up.
In a fit of rage, he grabbed a bottle of champagne and hurled it at Kendall, his voice dripping with venom. “Damn it. All this for a whore? I’ll make sure to take your woman down too.“[]
With a smash, the bottle hit the back of Kendall’s head.[]
Warm blood trickled down her spine, staining her white dress.[]
Kendall collapsed, her head spinning as electric flashes flooded her mind. Her vision dimmed, as screams echoed in her ears.
“Help! Someone’s been killed!“]

“Mr. Trevor, your girlfriend is in trouble.“[]
Amidst the chaotic noise, Elijah disappeared with Tiffany, never looking back.[]
Kendall spent the last five days in Northland in a hospital bed.[]
During that time, Elijah didn’t reach out once.[]
On the day she was discharged, he showed up, somehow hearing about her hospitalization.
His eyes widened with guilt and worry when he saw the bandage on her head. “Kendall, I didn’t know you were in the hospital. How- did you get hurt?”
Kendall didn’t want to go into detail, simply saying, “I was intentionally attacked with a bottle.“[]
Elijah looked taken aback, anger kindling in his eyes. “Who dared to lay a hand on you? I’ll kill him.“[]
Kendall lowered her gaze, about to share what had happened after he left, but Tiffany burst in.[]
“Kendall, I heard you were sick again. Are you okay?“]]
Seeing Tiffany, Kendall swallowed her words and responded coolly, “Just a minor injury. I’ll be discharged soon.“[]
After a few casual exchanges, a nurse arrived to prompt them, so Elijah went to sort out the discharge paperwork.[]
As Kendall was packing her belongings, she noticed Tiffany’s smile had faded, replaced by a cold stare.[]
“Alright, now that Elijah’s not around, stop pretending to be the victim. I came here to tell you that he’s been in love with me for years–since high school. You’ll never win over him, so save the effort.“[]
