Chapter 15 Found Daddy.
Fourth Adler had just arrived home when First Adler followed her inside.
“Fourth, come to my room. I need to talk to you about something,” First said as he entered his room.
Fourth Adler didn’t think much of it and simply replied, “Okay,” before following him inside.
“Close the door,” First instructed.
Fourth Adler then sensed that something was off, but she still obediently closed the door. “What’s wrong,
brother?”
“Who was that guy you met downstairs just now?” First Adler asked.
“Oh, that handsome uncle who looks like a celebrity that I met at the airport on the day we returned home!”
Fourth Adler replied, excitedly moving closer. “Brother, you saw him too, right? Isn’t he handsome? He even
looks a bit like you!”
First Adler ignored her comment and looked at her. “Did you add him on WhatsApp?”
“Yeah,” Fourth Adler nodded.
“Let me see your phone.”
Fourth Adler then took out her phone and handed it to him, looking at First Adler’s serious expression.
“What’s wrong, brother? Is something the matter?”
First Adler didn’t say anything. He opened WhatsApp and found a recently added contact in the chat
interface, with no conversation history.
First Adler hesitated for a moment before opening his social media profile.
It was completely blank.
It wasn’t set to only show a few days’ worth of posts; there was simply nothing ever posted.

The profile picture was just a starry sky, offering no clues.
Fourth Adler noticed his odd behavior. “Brother, what’s wrong?”

First Adler looked back at her, pulling himself together. “Nothing, it’s just that I think I saw him in a magazine
once. He looked familiar.”
Fourth Adler frowned. “Really?”
“Yeah.” First Adler handed back the phone. “He must be someone famous. It’s nothing… you can chat with
him.”
Fourth Adler nodded, then said thoughtfully, “He’s quite pitiful, too.”
“Pitiful? Why?”
“He said he could have had a child as adorable as me, but…”
First Adler felt a pang in his heart. “But what?”
“But it wasn’t meant to be. Something must have happened,” Fourth Adler said.
First Adler fell into thought.
Just then, the door opened, and Second Adler poked his head in. “What secrets are you whispering about
without me?”
“We were talking about…”
“Fourth Adler is being silly again, talking to strange men!” First Adler interrupted.
Fourth Adler immediately turned her head. “How can you say he’s a stranger? Even though I’ve only met that uncle twice, I can tell he’s a good person.”
First Adler didn’t say anything, as if something was on his mind.
Second Adler, though usually playful, was the best at understanding people’s thoughts.

He walked over and looked at Fourth Adler. “Grandfather made some dessert for a late-night snack. Do you
want some?”
Fourth Adler’s eyes lit up. “I do!” With that, she dashed off.
As soon as she left, Second Adler sat down in front of First Adler. “Alright, what’s going on?”
First Adler glanced at him, looking hesitant.
“Okay, if you don’t want to talk about it, then wait until you do.” With that, Second Adler got up to leave.
“I think I might know who our daddy is.”
Second Adler stopped in his tracks and turned back. “Are you sure?”
First Adler shook his head. “Not really sure yet, I need to verify it.” All his deductions were just based on his
gut feeling.
“How… how do you want to verify it?” Second Adler asked.
“I need some time to think about it.” First Adler replied.
“Does Fourth know about this?” Second Adler inquired.
“I want to tell her after I’ve confirmed it, so she doesn’t get disappointed,” First Adler explained.
Second Adler nodded, “That makes sense. No hope, no disappointment.”
“Let me think about what to do, and then I’ll let you know,” First Adler said.
Second Adler didn’t ask any more questions and simply nodded.
Outside.
After Scarlett Adler changed into a fresh set of clothes, William Adler came over with a plate of pastries.

Noticing the three little ones acting mysterious, William Adler told Scarlett Adler about their recent
conversations.

Scarlett Adler couldn’t help but laugh when she heard it. “If they’re saying all this, it’s probably so you’ll pass
it on to me.”
“So, I’m being used by these three little rascals?” William Adler asked rhetorically.
“Grandpa, you’ll get used to it,” Scarlett Adler advised.
William Adler smiled, feeling younger being around the three little ones.
While enjoying his dessert, he asked, “Haven’t they asked you about their father?”
Scarlett Adler shook her head.
“Have you thought about what you’ll do if they find out the truth?” William Adler asked.
“I’ve never thought about stopping them from knowing the truth. If they ask me, I’ll tell them honestly. I won’t
lie to them,” Scarlett Adler said.
“Aren’t you afraid they’ll go with Hugo Hodges?” William Adler asked.
Scarlett Adler smiled. “They’re free to come and go. It’s their choice. I’m already happy to be their mother. I
don’t want to limit their thoughts or actions. Besides, no matter who they’re with, I’ll always be their mother,
and my love for them won’t diminish.”
Listening to Scarlett Adler’s words, William Adler deeply felt that Scarlett Adler had indeed grown up. She had
her own thoughts and personality, and she gave her children the greatest freedom.
“Hugo Hodges is really lucky. Although he doesn’t know about these three children, it’s still his blessing to be
their father,” William Adler remarked.
Scarlett Adler didn’t comment on that.
The identity of the children’s father was something she couldn’t change at the moment.
However, she could do her best to provide them with the best life and sense of security.
First Adler and Second Adler came out of their room.
They both acted as if nothing was wrong, but Scarlett could tell at a glance that they had something on their
minds. However, she never pried into their thoughts.
“Scarlett, how did your talk with the school principal go today?” Second Adler asked with a smile as he
walked over.
Speaking of which, Fourth Adler suddenly remembered something and came over with a small bowl. “Oh
yeah, I almost forgot about something so important. Mommy, how was it? Is the principal handsome?”
Scarlett glanced at First, who hadn’t asked anything.
“Well, it went pretty well, and he is indeed quite handsome.” There was no denying that.
“I told
you, he’s really gentle and kind,” Fourth Adler emphasized, then suddenly remembered something. “Oh,
and I used to think he was just the principal, but today I found out that he’s also on the school board and
owns shares in the school.”
“So, he’s considered a young talent?”
“Of course. I heard he owns several businesses, but I don’t know exactly what he does,” Fourth Adler said.
“Mommy, what about you? Are you considering it?” Second Adler asked curiously.
At that moment, even William Adler turned his curious gaze over. “Scarlett, if he’s a good person, it might be
worth trying to date him.”
