Yadira was someone Devona gave her, and she was trustworthy.

At the gate, after Yadira left, Seryna was about to go in when she heard someone call her: “Sera.”

Seryna suddenly turned around and saw Calbert under the streetlight. He was wearing a well–fitted black suit and stood tall and straight. The corners of his mouth lifted a little, showing a doting smile.

Seryna was surprised that he would be here.

“Cal, you… what are you doing here?”
