Under the bright sunshine, the quiet little yard felt like a paradise, standing apart from the world.

“Isn’t it? These were all grown with organic fertilizer, and they tasted really good.”

Gloria went to the kitchen.
Seryna walked over with a muffin and saw Veronica, who looked pretty good. She was doing tai chi.

“You were really thoughtful. The youngest designer in the jewelry world was Elisabeth. Why didn’t you go to her? Why did you come to me, an old person?”

I think she doesn’t live up to her reputation.”
