No Mercy, No Forgiveness Novel Ch 102
A mischievous spark flashed in Ethan’s striking eyes: “Auntie, can you build a castle?
Ethan wants to see a huge castle, this big…”
He gestured widely with his hands.
The young nanny’s heart melted at his antics.
“Alright.
Auntie will build you a castle right now.”
“Wait here. I saved a castle–building video earlier–I’ll follow it.”
The young nanny flipped through videos while learning.
Ethan watched her quietly.
Once she was lost in it, he slipped out the door behind her back.
Outside on the balcony, endless mountains and trees stretched before him.
Ethan frowned. “This isn’t how you keep a child–it’s how you lock up criminals.”
He hadn’t stood there long before feeling unwell.
Gritting his teeth, he moved to scout other areas.
Throughout his confinement, he’d searched for escape routes.
But security was impenetrable. Even if he evaded guards, his frail body wouldn’t make it a kilometer before collaps- ing–or worse.
After frantic searching, the nanny noticed Ethan’s absence and panicked.
“Steven? Steven, where are you?”
If anything happened to the boy, Alex would skin her alive.
Trembling uncontrollably, she nearly jumped when Ethan entered with a glass of water.
“Auntie, tired?
Drink.”
Relief washed over her.

This child was so thoughtful and endearing, she often forgot he was only three or four.
“Thank you, sweetheart. Auntie isn’t thirsty.
But always tell me before you wander off, alright? You scared me half to death.”
“Mm–hmm.”
Ethan nodded vigorously.
Then, as if remembering something, his eyes welled up with tears.
The nanny panicked: “Ethan, baby, what’s wrong?
Why are you crying?”
Ethan sniffled: “I miss Mommy and Daddy. Auntie, can you call Uncle Alex and tell him?”
Tears as big as beans rolled down his face. The nanny couldn’t bear to see him cry.
“Okay, I’ll contact the butler right away.”
She didn’t have the boss’s contact information.

The network signal in the estate was blocked. To contact the butler, the nanny had to go through the security at the outermost gate.
She asked another nanny to watch Ethan first, then went to inform security that Ethan had been crying and said he missed his parents.
The security guard contacted the butler in charge of the Private Country Estate via a dedicated communication device.
The morning sun shone down.
Maureen slowly opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was a sturdy arm. Looking up, she met Geoffrey’s handsome face up close.
Only then did she realize that Geoffrey had moved entirely to her side of the bed.
Maureen frowned and cautiously tried to pull her hand away.
“Don’t move!”
Geoffrey’s impatient voice rang out.
With a tug, he held Maureen even tighter.
“Sleep a little longer.”
He hadn’t had a good night’s sleep in a long time.
It wasn’t that he lacked time, but that he simply couldn’t sleep. Now that he finally could, with no urgent work calling,

he refused to get up.
“I don’t want to sleep anymore.”
Maureen tried to pull away again, but his arms held her tightly, trapping her hands.
Left with no choice, she closed her eyes.
Not long after, Geoffrey’s phone rang sharply.

Fighting back his anger, he opened his eyes. Keeping one arm around Maureen, he reached for the phone on the nightstand.
“What is it?”
The butler informed him about Ethan.
“Got it.”
Geoffrey hung up immediately.
He should make a rule: no calls before 9 AM.
“Can we get up now?”
Maureen asked.
Geoffrey had wanted to hold her longer, but thoughts of the little guy possibly being in real trouble made him release
her.
“Yeah. I need to head out soon.”
He stretched lazily as he got up.
Maureen turned away tactfully while he dressed. “Could we discuss something? You can’t keep holding me like this while sleeping.”
“To be precise, we should set some ground rules for how we interact.”
“I feel this arrangement is very unfair to me.“–
Since returning home, Maureen had done some research. Men always want what they can’t have–playing hard to get
works best.
Geoffrey blinked sleepily at her.
The woman nestled under the covers, her raven hair tangled across the bed, a delicate face half–hidden in the strands, looking utterly stirring.
“What kind of fairness?”
“When you return, I’ll draw up a contract.”

Geoffrey’s throat tightened.
Agreement…
What agreement could possibly exist between them?
Afraid Maureen might refuse to stay, he reluctantly said, “You draft it first.”
If it wasn’t satisfactory, he wouldn’t accept it.
After changing clothes, Geoffrey got into his car and headed toward the Private Country Estate.
The moment he arrived, he saw Ethan lying in bed, tear streaks covering his face.
“Uncle, you finally came! Did you tell my daddy you
daddy you took me away?”
Would anyone notify Gareth after kidnapping a child?
Geoffrey arched an eyebrow. “He must know by now.”
