No Mercy, No Forgiveness Novel Ch 106
“Geoffrey, gotta tell you–some real stunners here lately, college grads too.”
One man winked at the manager to curry favor.
The manager instantly understood, producing a fresh–faced knockout.
This beauty was clearly new here, still bashful.
Someone murmured to Geoffrey: “She’s untouched.”
The woman’s gaze fell on Geoffrey in the dim light, instantly captivated by his striking features.
She approached him coyly: “Mr. Sutton, let me propose a toast to you.”
Geoffrey simply watched her without drinking.
Compared to her, he found Maureen far more appealing.
Maureen lacked that air of pettiness.
His cold behavior puzzled everyone.
One friend joked: “Geoffrey, has that little deaf girl’s return killed your interest in other women?”
Though Sean wasn’t present tonight, Geoffrey’s friends had adopted his nickname for Maureen.
The elite beauty from Chaster Club grew curious at their remarks.
“What little deaf girl?”
Geoffrey’s expression darkened, unnoticed by his friend who explained: “Mr. Sutton’s ex–wife.”
The elite graduate couldn’t hide her astonishment–how could such an exceptional man have married a deaf woman?
She couldn’t help feeling sorry for Geoffrey while growing more confident.
Surely she surpassed some deaf girl?
“Mr. Sutton, I’m Kim Lewis. If you won’t drink this, I’ll drink it for you.”
She drained the glass in one gulp.
This man would be hers tonight.
Kim thought this as, amid the crowd’s teasing, she sat down next to Geoffrey.

In the dim light, she couldn’t make out his expression. Having shed her initial awkwardness and shyness, she prepared to peel fruit for him.
Geoffrey watched her actions and asked bluntly, “If I didn’t give you money, would you be sitting here?”
Kim froze.
She quickly came to her senses.
“It’s my honor to sit by your side. I don’t want money.”
What a way to say “I don’t want money“.
Hearing this, Geoffrey naturally thought of Maureen.
They’d been married for years, but only after divorcing did he learn she’d never used a single cent of the Sutton Fami- ly’s money.
“Alright then, from now on, you’ll work here without pay.”
Geoffrey said unhurriedly.
Though Chaster Club wasn’t his business, one word from him would make the boss comply immediately.
Astonishment filled Kim’s eyes: “Mr. Sutton, you’re not joking with me, are you?”
If she didn’t need money, why would she even be working here?
With her qualifications, landing a ten–thousand–a–month job wouldn’t be hard.
But ten grand monthly? How could that compare to earning ten grand daily?
Besides, she was young and gorgeous. Who knows, she might hook a rich bachelor?
“What do you think?”
Geoffrey retorted.
The friends nearby were stunned: “Geoffrey, what’s wrong?”
Geoffrey didn’t answer, just kept staring at Kim.
“Got a problem?”
The man’s intimidating aura made Kim drop her gaze. She shook her head: “No.”
She thought Geoffrey was merely testing her, so she brushed it off.
But his friends knew he never made empty threats–Kim’s efforts at Chaster Club would gain her nothing.
They saw through it but stayed silent.
Unaware she’d never receive payment at Chaster Club again–and that no one would dare pay her–Kim pressed further

about Maureen: “Mr. Sutton, wasn’t your ex–wife terrible?”
The room fell deathly quiet.
Geoffrey’s gaze turned icy. “How would you know?”
“I can feel it. You seem so unhappy.” Kim’s beautiful eyes sparkled with false concern.
Leaning back, Geoffrey raised an eyebrow. “You’re right. She was awful.”
Maureen had just reached the doorway, catching every word of Geoffrey’s conversation with the woman.
The door stood open. She remained frozen, watching him.
Geoffrey hadn’t noticed her arrival.

Maureen lowered her lashes. Whether past or present, she remained Geoffrey and his friends‘ favorite topic after din-
ner.
“Ms. Ramirez,” came a voice behind her, “since you’re here, aren’t you coming in?”
A cool, magnetic voice sounded beside her.
Larry had appeared beside her at some point, a glass of red wine in his well–defined hand.
His thin lips were as seductively red as the wine in his hand.
Because he spoke, the mingling crowd noticed and instantly fell silent.
Geoffrey’s dark eyes flickered slightly. He picked up a wine glass from the table, took a sip, and hid the strange look in his eyes.
Maureen just gave him a faint glance, then said to Larry, “No, I don’t want to go in and ruin everyone’s fun.”
The playboys present rubbed their noses awkwardly, wondering why Maureen had come to such an occasion.
Seeing the woman leave sensibly, everyone relaxed.
“Geoffrey, that deaf girl disappeared for four or five years, and she’s divorced you. How dare she come to check up on you?”
one of them said.
Kim, sitting beside Geoffrey, only then realized that the beautiful, aloof woman standing at the door earlier was actu- ally Geoffrey’s ex–wife.
