No Mercy, No Forgiveness Novel Ch 111
She also hoped her grandson would eventually take over the Sutton empire.
Another reason traced back to her former mother–in–law…
Jacob never expected such words from Heather. He’d assumed all Suttons despised him and his brother like Geoffrey did.
Seeing the main road ahead, he said, “Grandma, I’m here. Thank you.”
Jacob stepped out of the car.
Heather watched him until he reached the bus stop before telling the driver to head home.
The driver had noticed the child too. On the way back, he couldn’t help remarking, “Kids these days are getting smarter. That child’s eyes look just like Mr. Sutton’s.”
Heather agreed.
If it were any other child, she wouldn’t have been so kind today. But this one–she liked him inexplicably.
Meanwhile, Geoffrey returned shortly after.
Andrea had called him over earlier, reporting an encounter with a sasaeng fan–an obsessive stalker.
The stalker had not only claimed to be her boyfriend but also broken into her home, attempting to forcibly take her away for assault.
By the time Geoffrey arrived, security had already ejected the man.
He assigned bodyguards to Andrea, instructing her to call them or the police directly if anything happened.
Remembering Maureen’s allergies and suspecting she hadn’t eaten, he ordered food.
Upstairs on the second floor, Maureen’s door stood open.
White curtains fluttered in the breeze as she sat hunched over a desk, scribbling sheet music.
Everything was utterly tranquil.
Geoffrey walked in and immediately spotted the rashes on her skin.
“Have you eaten?”
His reflection fell across the paper before Maureen realized he’d arrived.

“You’re back.”
“Yeah, go downstairs to cat.”
“I’m not hungry.”
Maureen continued to busy herself with her work.
“Even if you’re not hungry, you should cat.”
After saying that, Geoffrey went straight downstairs.
Maureen had no choice but to follow him to the dining room, where exquisite dishes were laid out, all ordered by Ge- offrey from a restaurant and delivered.
She took a glance and noticed there wasn’t a single seafood dish on the table.
Geoffrey didn’t explain either, just focused on eating his meal.
After the meal,
Maureen spoke up: “Your mother came to see me today.”
Geoffrey looked up at Maureen.
“What did she come to see you for?”
Maureen handed the blank check Heather had given her to Geoffrey.
“She gave me a check to make me leave.”
Geoffrey stared at the check: “Did you agree?”
Just fill in any number, and the debt she owed him would vanish instantly.
Maureen shook her head: “No. Since I signed the agreement with you, I won’t take this money.”
If she left now, how could she get pregnant with the third child?
How could she save Ethan?
Maureen pushed the check toward him: “Take it back.”
Geoffrey took it, skimmed it once, then tossed it in the trash. His gaze shifted to her allergy–swollen face, eyes dark- ening.
“You chose right. Even if you wrote a number on that check, I wouldn’t cash it.”
He’d crush any hope of escape in its cradle!
Maureen’s hands tightened at her waist.
Geoffrey wiped his hands with a warm towel, stood, and walked over.

Before she could react, his fingers brushed her rash–covered neck.
No improvement at all.
“Did you apply the ointment?”
His hot–and–cold mood made Maureen uneasy.
She edged away: “I did.”
The subtle movement didn’t escape the man’s notice. Just as Geoffrey was about to force contact, the doorbell rang.
Who could it be at this hour?
The tense atmosphere in the living room made Maureen immediately stand up. “I’ll get it.”
Avoiding Geoffrey, she hurried to the entrance and opened the door.
In the midsummer night breeze, Andrea stood at the threshold in a pale slip dress, tears welling up but not falling–a picture of fragile beauty that tugged at the heartstrings.
Seeing Maureen answering the door, her gaze flickered before softening her voice. “I’m looking for Geoff.”
No wonder such a delicate beauty had captured the affections of both Geoffrey and Sean.
Maureen withdrew her gaze. When she glanced back, Geoffrey had already approached.
The moment Andrea spotted him, her nose stung and tears finally spilled. “Geoff…”
Geoffrey’s brow furrowed, puzzled by her unexpected visit.
Andrea walked straight to him as if no one else existed, tears streaking her cheeks. “Geoff… not long after you left, he came again…”
She lifted her arm, revealing dark bruises.
“He tried to take me away. When I refused, he dragged me toward the balcony to jump… I was so scared…”
“The bodyguards?”
Geoffrey pulled out his phone to demand answers.
Andrea hurried to explain, “I was about to sleep when he climbed through the window. The bodyguards at the door
didn’t notice him.”
Geoffrey frowned at the bruises on her arms and shoulders.
“I’ll arrange a car to the hospital.”
