No Mercy, No Forgiveness Novel Ch 3
When she was struggling to fall asleep, her phone on the nightstand rang.
She picked up the phone, only to find it was from an unknown number.
The call connected, and a sweet voice came through, terrifying her to the core–it was Andrea.
“Reenie, is it? Geoff’s drunk. Could you come pick him up?”
In Chaster Club.
As Maureen scurried up to the door of the private room, she overheard the teasing voices of the rich boys inside.
“Andie, you came back this time to win Geoffrey back, right? This is the perfect chance. Come on–tell him you’re still in love with him.”
Andrea was pretty, sweet, and sociable. On top of that, she was Geoffrey’s first love. His friends were all in favor of seeing them together.
Without hesitation, she cooed, “Geoff, I love you. Let’s get back together.”
Maureen heard her every word loud and clear.
Geoffrey’s friends then started to persuade him, and Sean Robson’s voice stood out.
“Geoffrey, you’ve waited for Andie for three years. Now that she’s finally back, what are you waiting for? Say yes.”
Maureen froze at the door, her heart pounding. Just then, a man pulled the door open.
“Ms. Ramirez?”
Those in the private room all looked at the door.
The scene fell into eerie silence.
Maureen spotted Geoffrey at the head of the table at once. The lucid clarity in his eyes suggested that he wasn’t drunk at all.
Andrea had tricked her here.
When Geoffrey saw Maureen, his eyes turned cold.
The others, including Sean, who had urged Geoffrey to say yes, all looked embarrassed.
Maureen shouldn’t have been here.
“Reenie, don’t get the wrong idea. Sean was just joking. Geoff and I are now just friends.”

Chapter 3
Andrea broke the silence.
Geoffrey stood up before Maureen could respond.
“No need to explain to her.”
He walked over to Maureen and spat, “What are you doing here?”
“I thought you were drunk, so I came to take you home,” she said truthfully.
He sneered, “It seems you’ve forgotten everything I said to you.”
He lowered his voice to a husky whisper, just loud enough for her to hear.

“Do you think everyone’s forgotten how I was tricked three years ago? That’s why you came here–to remind them?”
She was stunned.
His gaze turned icy. “Stop making excuses just to show up in front of me. It’ll only make me hate you more.”
With that, he turned to walk away.
Staring at his tall retreating figure, Maureen remained in a trance for a long time.
His friends‘ gazes on her held no sympathy at all.
Sean said bluntly to Andrea, who pretended to be sad, “Andie, you’re way too kind. You owe her no explanation.
“She tricked Geoffrey into marrying her. Otherwise, you two would have been together already, and you would have suffered so much abroad.”
Despite the ringing in her ears, Maureen heard his every word loud and clear.
She knew better than anyone.
Whether Geoffrey married her or not, he’d never accept Andrea being his wife–Andrea had no background at all.
Andrea herself knew it, too, which was why she chose to break up with him and go abroad.
How come it was all her fault?
She soon left the club. Holding an umbrella, she felt utterly cold, as if she were surrounded by endless darkness.
Just then, a sweet fragrance wafted over.
It was Andrea.
Wearing delicate makeup and high heels, she smiled triumphantly.
“Tonight is so cold, isn’t it? I wonder–how does it feel, coming to Geoff so late only to be ridiculed by him?”
Maureen didn’t respond.

Shrugging, she continued, “I pity you. You never know how it feels to be loved, right? You know what? When we were together, Geoff would cook for me, and he’d always rush to me at once whenever I fell sick…
