No Mercy, No Forgiveness Novel Ch 95
Geoffrey spoke abruptly: “Remember, we’re still married. Don’t see Gareth anymore.”
Maureen stared blankly. “What gives you the right? You’re with Andrea, yet I can’t even meet friends?”
“Because I won’t be made a cuckold!”
“What are you implying?”
“You know exactly what.”
Geoffrey’s voice carried glacial sharpness as he continued: “If just friends, how do you explain the child?”
Maureen choked.
She couldn’t admit having no relationship with Gareth–that would make Ethan’s existence harder to justify.
“The child was an accident. I’m raising him on my own. Gareth and I have nothing between us now.”
No man would tolerate his wife bearing another’s child.
Least of all Geoffrey,
Hearing Maureen call their child an accident made a taut nerve throb violently in his mind.

“One accident? Or two? Or several?”
Getting pregnant usually takes more than one try.
Maureen understood the implication.
Her hands in front of her clenched tighter, knuckles whitening.
Facing Geoffrey’s pressing, Maureen finally spoke: “Stop the car. I’m not going to the office.”
The driver didn’t dare halt without Geoffrey’s permission.
Geoffrey ignored her words entirely.
Maureen yanked the car door open and leaped out.
The car had just started moving; she merely tumbled to the ground, scraping her hands and knees.
But suddenly, a motorcycle raced toward her from behind–too late to brake, seconds from hitting her.
Without hesitation, Geoffrey charged out, pulling her into his arms.
Only after the motorcycle sped away, certain she was unharmed, did he snap:
“Are you out of your mind?”
Geoffrey’s heart pounded wildly. Spotting scrapes on her hands and legs, he yanked her back into the car and ordered the driver to the hospital.

Sitting inside, Maureen shuddered with delayed fear. She’d acted too rashly. She still had Jacob and Ethan; she couldn’t afford trouble.
Geoffrey’s face hardened. “What’re you mad about?”
Maureen stayed silent, her limbs throbbing faintly.
Dead silence filled the car again.
Geoffrey hated when Maureen clammed up.
She used to chatter constantly, especially as a kid, buzzing nonstop in
his ear.
Now she’d freeze without warning.
He snapped impatiently, “Where were you headed?”
“Just wanted to walk around. Nowhere special.”
The kids were under his control. Where could she possibly go?
The driver stopped at the city hospital entrance. Geoffrey led her out.
Surgical clinic.
Geoffrey pushed the door open first.
“Geoffrey, what brings you here?”
A familiar voice rang out.
Sean sat inside wearing a white coat, his usual playboy vibe replaced by focus.

Geoffrey ignored the question. “Why are you here?”
Sean’s gaze flickered toward Maureen behind him before darting
avvay.
“The old man forced me to ‘experience real life.‘ So here I am.”
He never had any interest in medicine, but the old man forced him to study it, along with law and international business.
Now the old man wants him to get hands–on experience to better manage the family business later.
He wouldn’t be here if not for the old man’s threat: come or propose to the White Family.
He couldn’t figure out what the old man saw in that Katherine, insisting he marry her.
Just thinking about Katherine and that mischievous kid gave Sean a headache.
Geoffrey didn’t press further and told Maureen to step forward: “Treat her injuries.”
Hearing this, Sean looked at Maureen and noticed the scrapes on her arms and legs.
“Come sit.”
His tone was strictly professional.
Maureen knew that with Geoffrey present, Sean would hold back and not try anything.

So she sat on the stool and let him examine her wounds.
After careful inspection, Sean removed his disposable gloves.
“Nothing serious, just superficial injuries.”
He had a nurse bring ointment, took it, and moved to apply it to
Maureen.
Geoffrey stopped him.
“Give it to me.”
Seeing this, Sean said: “It’s fine, I’ll help her apply it.”
Geoffrey’s expression darkened as he reached for the ointment.

Maureen watched the two men dawdling and snatched the medicine from Sean’s hand.
“I’ll do it myself.”
She started tending to the wound with a cotton swab.
The atmosphere in the room grew tense.
Sean moved beside Geoffrey, leaning against the wall with him.
“Geoffrey, what happened here?”
Geoffrey kept his eyes fixed on Maureen. “Someone decided jumping from a moving car was a brilliant idea.”
Sean’s chest tightened.

He masked his reaction, continuing casually.
“Isn’t the company anniversary celebration today?
When are you heading over?”
“We’ll see tonight.”
Geoffrey checked his watch–only two in the afternoon.
Word had reached Mr. Albert that Geoffrey was at the hospital.
During his inspection tour, the old man immediately summoned Geoffrey for a talk.
Before leaving, Geoffrey told Maureen firmly: “Wait for me.”
Once he and the nurse departed, only Maureen and Sean remained in the examination room.
Sean thought she couldn’t reach certain spots and reached out to help.
